Day 2 >> Sun. February 3: (Paris)
Arrival at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France
Transportation from the airport to the hotel in Paris at own expense
4 nights in twin rooms with private bathrooms incl. breakfast at a 3-star hotel in Paris
Public transportation pass for the duration of the entire stay in Paris
Boat tour on the famous Bateaux Parisiens to get a first impression of the city

Audio-guided tour of the Palace of Versailles in the afternoon and afterwards time to explore the Palace further on your own and visit the gardens/parks

Guided tour of the Louvre in the morning, the most visited and one of the oldest, largest and most famous art galleries and museums in the world.
Guest lecture on “Cultural Diversity” at your hotel in the afternoon

Guided boat tour on the river Ill to get a first overview of the “Capital of Europe”

Seminar at the Château de Pourtalès on “Current Issues in the European Union focusing on Politics and Economy” in the afternoon

Guide available during the day for a talk during the bus ride on “The Nature of the Alsace – Movement between Germany & France” (same guide at castle, Obernai and Struthof)
Guided tour of the Haut Königsbourg Castle in the morning
Travel to Obernai for a brief city tour and time for lunch on your own
Guided tour of the former concentration camp Struthof in the afternoon
