Gretchen Fleming

Director of the Center for Law & Justice, Chair of Legal Studies

Ms. Fleming serves as the Chair of the Legal Studies program and as Assistant Professor within the school. She has a Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo and a M.S. in criminal justice-forensic psychology from Tiffin University. She also teaches criminal justice and sociology for Bowling Green State University. Ms. Fleming has previously worked for the Erie County Prosecutor’s Office Criminal Division and for a civil law practice in Cleveland.

Scott Brantley

Program Chair, Criminal Justice Program; Assistant Professor

Mr. Brantley has been the Chair of the Criminal Justice program and an Assistant Professor at Chancellor since January 2004. Prior to that, he served as a Special Agent and Chief Division Counsel for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Cleveland for more than 28 years. He holds a B.A. in history and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis and is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Tennessee. Mr. Brantley also continues to teach at several police academies across Northeast Ohio.

Darius Navran, Ph.D.

Dean of the College of Professional Studies; Associate Provost

Dr. Navran is the Dean of the College of Professional Studies and Associate Provost at Chancellor University and has been teaching here since 1992. He holds a B.A. in public administration, an M.A. in political science and public policy and a Ph.D. in comparative world history with a cognate area in international relations. He also holds certificates in Russian language and Russian studies from University of California, Berkeley and Norwich University.
