Chancellor University is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Shiva Achet as the program chair for the University's Health Services Management program. Dr. Achet joined Chancellor in 2010 as associate professor and chair of environmental studies and has a variety of credentials and experiences that make him eminently fit for the position, including:  supervision of many geographic information system (GIS) capstone projects in the health sector at Roosevelt University; directing and participating in a number of environmental sustainability projects; involvement in community health programs; and previous leadership and consulting positions with the government of Nepal. 

Since joining Chancellor, Dr. Achet has been responsible for launching the GIS program, enhancing the environmental studies curriculum, and supporting the Chancellor University Honors Program.  His collegiality and collaborative spirit have made him a valuable member of the University's academic team and have earned him the respect of his colleagues and the University administration.
